FiltreAI 1.2.0 and later use no accounts, ads, tracking, analytics SDKs, push profiles or remote diagnostics.
The threat list ships with the app. It is not downloaded inside the app and only changes with a new App Store version.
To provide its core functions, the following information may be processed on your device and kept in local storage:
This information is not sent to the FiltreAI developer or to any other analytics provider. You can delete custom rules, allow-list entries and Recent Activity entries (one by one or all at once) in the app, and remove all local data by uninstalling the app.
Clipboard and Shortcuts. While the Smart Analysis and Overview screens are open, the app may read the clipboard to check whether it holds text that looks like a message. Clipboard content is evaluated on your device only and is never sent anywhere; it is processed locally as a Smart Analysis input, as described above, only if you choose to analyze it. Text passed in through Shortcuts or an app link (filtreai://analyze) is likewise processed on your device only.
FiltreAI 1.2.0 and later do not start requests to a developer server at runtime. If you deliberately open the privacy policy, the support e-mail address or a link inside a message, iOS may launch the relevant app or browser; this does not transfer app data to FiltreAI.
The “Start Report” option in the FiltreAI panel inside Messages passes the selected sender, message and category to FiltreAI through an on-device app link, and also tries to write a local copy to the protected App Group area. Both paths stay on the device; nothing is sent over the network and nothing reaches a server. If iOS refuses the attempt to open the app directly, a local “Report ready” notification may be scheduled; you can tap it or open the app yourself. The notification carries only a random draft ID; the sender and message are not added to the notification content. This is not a push notification: no APNs, push token or remote server is used. Tapping Done in the panel may hand the chosen classification to Apple’s system mechanism. That system action is subject to the policies of Apple, Messages and your carrier and is not data collected by the FiltreAI developer.
